A set of four solid oak dining chairs by Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf, dating from the 1970s.
Typical of Kjærnulf’s work, the chairs combine a strong, almost rustic construction with more decorative detailing. Carved oak backrests give each chair its distinctive character, balanced by simple upholstered seats and slender timber frames.
The warm, lightly aged oak has a beautiful natural grain and patina. A particularly lovely example of the more expressive side of Danish design from the period.
