A rare set of four Swedish bar stools by Cado, dating to the 1970s.
Beautifully graphic in form, each stool features a circular timber seat framed by an exaggerated bentwood hoop back, set against a fine chromed-steel structure. Slender legs and a circular footrest give the stools a light architectural quality, while the sweeping timber backs bring warmth and a playful sculptural element.
A particularly striking example of Danish design from the period, equally strong individually or grouped around a kitchen island or bar. Some patina to the leather bases.
